Your availability, shared simply

One calendar that shows when you're busy.

Connect every calendar you keep: work and personal Google accounts, Microsoft 365, and any feed you can subscribe to. busy merges them into a single view of your taken time and gives you a link to share it, with as much or as little detail as you choose.

Read-only access. Nothing is shared until you create a link, and every link can be revoked.

How it works

Three steps, once.

Connect the calendars, say how much each may show, and hand out a link. Everything after that happens in the background.

  1. Step 1

    Connect

Link every calendar that should count: work and personal Google accounts, Microsoft 365, or any calendar you can subscribe to by URL. Each one asks for read-only access and syncs on its own.

  2. Step 2

    Set the detail

Choose, per calendar, how much it may show: hidden, busy or free, event titles, or everything. Work can show titles while personal stays a plain block.

  3. Step 3

    Share

Make a link for each audience and cap what it shows. Every link opens in a browser and subscribes in any calendar app, and you can replace or revoke it at any time.

Sharing

Say exactly how much each person sees.

Every calendar has a level and every link has a cap. A link can only show less than a calendar allows, never more, so the same week can be plain grey blocks for a client and a full schedule for your team.

  • Busy or free

    Safest

Blocks of taken time and nothing else. The right level for a personal calendar, and safe to hand to anyone.

  • Event titles

    Titles

What's on and when. Descriptions and locations stay private, so colleagues see the shape of your day without the notes.

  • Everything

    Most

Titles, times and locations, as your own calendar shows them. For the people you'd give the calendar itself.

A web page

A week view in the viewer's own time zone, with a line for right now. Nobody needs an account to open it, and search engines are told to keep out.

A calendar feed

Subscribe by URL in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook or anything else that reads a calendar feed. The blocks sit next to their own events and refresh on their own schedule.

What counts

Only real commitments block time.

busy reads how each event is marked, so the view stays honest without any tidying up. Overlapping events from different calendars merge into one block, and nothing about which calendar it came from leaks out.

Counts as busy

  • Confirmed and tentative events
  • Invitations you haven't answered yet
  • Focus time and out-of-office days

Never counts

  • Invitations you declined
  • Events marked "free"
  • All-day reminders and holidays
  • Birthdays and working locations
  • Calendars you set to hidden

Privacy

Built to be handed to strangers.

The link is the only thing a viewer gets, and it gives away exactly what you set for it.

  • Read-only, one account at a time

Signing in shares your name, email address and picture. Reading a calendar is a separate permission you grant when you connect that account, and disconnecting it hands the permission back.

  • The cap is applied before anything leaves

Each event is trimmed to its level on the server, before the page or feed is built, so a viewer cannot find more by looking harder.

  • Replace or revoke in one click

New links kill the old ones at once, and a revoked link is indistinguishable from one that never existed.

  • Keeps working while you're away

busy keeps a read-only copy of your events and refreshes it in the background, so a link stays current whether or not you are online.

Ready when you are.

Sign in with Google, connect a calendar, and hand out your first link in a couple of minutes.
